OH YES! WE have arrived. “PITHRUVEDI” Can we call it FORUM FOR FATHER? “NO”, for we may lose in translation
With the announcement of formation of the VEDI on 29th June 2008 by Fr.Kuriakose Kalaparambath,vicar of MOV Shrine,Tikujiniwadi, Thane West, the forum formally began to take its shape.
Registration and application forms circulated immediately after the Sunday mass and service evoked very enthusiastic response. Large number of fathers expressed their willingness by signing the forms to be part of the Vedi.
Basically the forum will enable focused interaction among the members, who are willing to share, care and sacrifice for the cause of the community. Aging with grace and wisdom by the blessings of the Lord through and Mother of Victory, the forum look forward to the peace and welfare of the community. The fathers will endeavors to evolve as ideal fathers to guide their family in conformity with the teachings of the church.
With the avowed help, support and guidance from the Diocese, we shall establish ourselves for the welfare and unselfish service to the community. |
